To summarize, true worship is a foretaste of the unending glory and joy we anticipate in the presence of our Great God and King Jesus! We pray that God continues to stir in the souls of every one of our students.” ~ Mr. Guidroz and I both spoke about worship-what it was meant to be in the Garden of Eden and what it will be forever when we meet Jesus face to face. We heard wisdom shared by our Worship Arts students and from the senior class of 2023. Throughout the week, students were challenged with what it truly means to be an authentic worshiper and enjoyer of Jesus Christ. “Spiritual Enrichment Week at the upper school was an awesome time of dynamic worship. My heart is bursting, my spirit rejoicing, and I’m celebrating with all of heaven.” ~ ECA Elementary teacher There is no greater privilege than to pray the prayer of salvation with them for the very first time and to remind others who already have prayed that NOTHING will ever separate them from HIs love. “Four of my students responded to the salvation message this morning to ask Jesus into their hearts … they have such pure and innocent faith. Showing God’s love to others by serving in food pantries, writing encouraging notes, supporting foster care children, making welcome bags for children in long-term medical treatment, sorting clothing to be sent to 31 countries, cleaning cabins for summer camp, stocking shelves in a co-op. Solidifying God's truth in their hearts by speaking and sharing testimony in chapel. Experiencing worship by leading, participating, and giving glory to God. Growth in their relationship with God as they learned parables, stories, and scripture in the Bible. We are grateful to present a snapshot of what your child experienced at ECA during Spiritual Enrichment Week. From the sidewalks to the classrooms and out into the community, students flourish in God's love and in the care of Christ-following faculty and staff. This year, our campuses were full of energy and excitement about the special chapels, worship, prayer time, speakers, activities, and service opportunities – all rooted in the Word of God. For more than 30 years, Eden Christian Academy has set aside a week for specific focus on spiritual needs and deepening the faith of our students.
